Release Notes for 1.6.x Upgrade from 1.4x or 1.5x 

BACKUP FIRST!   THIS IS A MAJOR UPGRADE

Read all of this, especially the last line.

This is FW release fixes some issues around VMware and Linux for Axstor Ai-1000 (Ai-lite) & Ai-4000 (Ai-Pro). Note, Ai-5000 (Ai-ProSAS) is covered by a different release, please contact Axstor for further  instructions.


Warning:

This is a one way upgrade; you will not be able to down grade from this FW without the loss of data, please ensure you have adequate backups before performing this upgrade.

THIS UPGRADE TAKES ALOT LONGER THAN NORMAL AND REQUIRES SEVERAL REBOOTS OF THE ISCSI ARRAY.

ENSURE THAT YOU HAVE AN RS232 CONSOLE SESSION RUNNING PRIOR TO PERFORMING THIS UPGRADE.
